Connecting headboards or headboards and footboards securely can be done in various ways, but using nuts and bolts is a simple and trouble-free method. To attach them securely, you will need a steel bed frame with one of our mounting Modi-plates. The frame should have aligned holes or slots that offer versatility in fitting different beds and heights.

Here's how to do it: align the holes in the mounting Modi-plate with the holes in the headboard or footboard legs. Push the screw through the leg and place a washer over the screw's shank. Finally, thread on and tighten the lock nut. Our complete kit includes screws of different lengths to accommodate varying headboard thickness. It is suitable for both wood-to-metal and metal-to-metal mounting plate connections, especially when the headboard is not easily accessible for tightening.

The kit includes 4 screws (¾"), lock nuts, and washers for attaching the bed frame to the Modi-plate, as well as 4 screws (2½"), lock nuts, and washers for attaching the headboards to the Modi-plate. Ensure that the headboard or footboard has holes that pass through the entire leg and can accommodate bolts measuring ¼" x 2 ¼" at maximum.

Our package is suitable for most headboards or footboards, with a maximum thickness of 2 ¼". The complete kit includes two different length bolts, ensuring you get the right fit on the first try. It consists of four ¼" x 2½" bolts for headboards and four ¼" x ¾" bolts for the Modi-plate to bed frame connection.
